This augmented reality application developed for ICAR showcases a collection of five thought-provoking artworks placed at four distinct locations in Washington, DC. The pervasive infiltration of corporate interests into our public institutions poses a significant peril to democracy and the safeguarding of human rights, often concealed from plain sight. ICAR is deeply dedicated to collaborating with partners and artists to unveil the concealed realm of corporate manipulation within the confines of Washington, DC.

Presenting a series of AR artworks that delve into issues within industries such as agribusiness/food systems, oil and gas/climate, and the private prison sector, these pieces are meticulously positioned across four interconnected locations in the nation's capital. Renowned artists contributing to this app include Keith Calhoun and Chandra McCormick, Emma Robbins, Alfredo Salazar-Caro, and Stacy Lynn Waddell.

The International Corporate Accountability Roundtable (ICAR) stands as a collaborative alliance comprising over 40 member and partner organizations committed to combatting corporate exploitation of both individuals and the environment. Our mission revolves around advocating for concrete protective measures and stringent legal enforcement aimed at shielding the public against corporate exploitation, safeguarding whistleblowers who expose corporate malpractices, and countering the ascendance of corporate dominance within society. ICAR functions under the fiscal sponsorship of Tides Center.
